Rooftop Recording Studio is a professional recording studio located atop 448 St Kilda rd, featuring the best of both vintage analog and modern digital tools. Music is our passion and we focus on making a big sound in an intimate setting.
RECORDING
Rooftop Recording Studio offers a full range of digital recording services for music recording, sound recording, mixing, mastering, audio editing and arrangement. In addition we have written, arranged & produce music for television & film, radio advertising and television commercials.
Rooftop Recording Studio's audio post production services currently include: voice-overs for radio & television, corporate videos, documentaries and audio books.
We have a large sound effects library and royalty free music library, or if you need that special piece for your next project "custom written" we have over 20 years experience in piecing together that "special track".
MIXING
With the right equipment and experience coupled with a state of the art custom designed mix room, we have the perfect space to mix your next project. Be it a commercial, demo, full record release or film, between Steven and Terry they share not only years of experience but a huge cross section of music has been individually and together mixed by the two to critical acclaim.
MASTERING
Just when you think the hard work is done, you still need to consider mastering.
Producing and mixing is essential to the recording process, but when you want to take advantage of all of that hard work you put in, you want mastering that pulls it all together with precision and beauty.
Ensuring that all of the parts blend together, have the right equalization, tone, and that nothing overpowers any other part, and also creating the full sound that stereo provides during the mastering process.
