In addition we have written, arranged & produce music for television & film, radio advertising and television commercials.
Rooftop Recording Studio's audio post production services currently include: voice-overs for radio & television, corporate videos, documentaries and audio books.
We have a large sound effects library and royalty free music library, or if you need that special piece for your next project custom written we have over 20 years experience in piecing together that "special track".
Professional Engineers
Steve Morgan, of Icehouse Fame long time music arranger, session musician, engineer/producer. With numerouse credits under his belt and an Aria hall of fame recipient he is the right man for the job.
Terry Strudwick 18 year veteran of the music scene, specialist mixer and programmer, session singer, adviser to many of Australias and the world's top musicians and Dj's on mixing and producing.

Top Notch Acoustics
The Mixing room and Vocal booth were designed by the revered Peter Brown studio design. The room is one of the most neutral sounding mixing spaces in the country, with a beautiful wide sweet spot in the listening position.

Amek Bc2 Re wired and serviced, pre amps and eq designed by Rupert Neve 16 Channel.
MICROPHONES
We have a selection of Neumann microphones, we have 2 Neumann U87 and U47 to choose from or pair up. We also rely on the Neumann M147 tube condenser microphone, the AKG C-144 and C-451 mics, an two Crown PZM mics, along with an assortment of other specialty and utility mics for all recording needs.
OUTBOARD GEAR
Focusrite Red quad 4 microphone pre amp, 2 recently reconditioned Urei LA-4 compressors now with the famed LA2 response, Langevin ELOP stereo electro-optical limiter, Rolls vintage mic pre, Midas eq, Rnc, Rnp, Rev4 reverb, a TC electronic finalizer 96k mastering processor and a cupboard of old beauties from reverbs, compressors/limiters and a few old whacky custom made bit's from steves old bass tech.
